What is BRCGS Packaging Materials?
BRCGS Packaging Materials is an international certification standard for manufacturers of packaging materials. BRCGS stands for Brand Reputation through Compliance Global Standards. The standard focuses on risk management and the structural assurance of quality and safety. During audits, the following aspects are assessed, among others:
- material selection and material suitability
- hygiene and working conditions
- process control and quality inspections
- traceability and documentation
- internal audits and continuous improvement
- management of non-conformities and corrective actions
This certification demonstrates that Elburg-Smit guarantees a high level of product safety and compliance with the BRCGS standard.
What does this mean in our daily practice?
