To further strengthen this special positioning, we developed a unique click-on label that instantly gives the product a gift-like appearance.
Fusion Hydrangea is an exclusive standard hydrangea in a 21 cm pot size, available in various colours. Thanks to years of in-house breeding and careful selection, this hydrangea flowers continuously for as long as six months, with the flowers changing colour throughout the blooming period. As a result, the concept stands out not only visually, but also in terms of quality and shelf life.
Unique click-on label creates a luxurious gift-like appearance
Such a beautiful product naturally deserves a presentation that immediately stands out on the shop floor. PerlaNova therefore wanted to give the Fusion Hydrangea a true gift-like appearance. However, SmartCups® or Potcovers were not suitable for every retail environment, while a standard label did not offer enough distinctiveness for this concept.
That is why we developed a striking click-on label in the shape of a large pink bow. The label perfectly matches the luxurious and festive look of the Fusion Hydrangea and ensures that the product immediately attracts attention on the shelf. The design combines appearance with functionality: the label needs to remain firmly attached to the pot while also being easy to process in production and logistics.
Technical customisation in shape, die-cutting and finishing
Behind what may seem like a simple design lies a great deal of technical expertise. For this special die-cut shape, careful attention had to be paid to the cut-outs, the strength of the material and the way the label is attached to the pot. In addition, this shape is manually stripped out, a process that requires precision and care in order to maintain its high-quality appearance.
